Riverview Land Preserve

A BioCNG system has been developed for the Riverview Land Preserve, in the City of Riverview, MI. The system uses about 100 scfm of gas from the City’s Land Preserve Landfill, which will yield 450-550 GGE/day in fuel. A municipal CNG vehicle fleet is being developed as part of the project.

The BioCNG vehicle fuel project is in addition to an existing landfill gas-to-energy plant owned by Riverview Energy Systems, which produces 6.4 MW of electricity.
